Discover the art of silver jewellery making with Scottish Silverworks. In the Silver Stamped Earrings class, you'll have the chance to create a beautiful pair of patterned and lettered charms to hang from your choice of earring wires that you also can create. The silver is all 100% recycled Sterling silver sourced from a UK supplier and manufacturer. WHAT DOES THE CLASS INVOLVE? During this one to one and a half hour class, you'll learn the basics of stamping and patterning silver from your expert jeweller, as well as shaping and polishing silver to create your earring hooks to make a unique and personalised piece. The class includes making short drop earrings up to 3cm with a 10mm charm hanging from each ear wire. I also have studs available if prefered which have a small ring to attach your charm, these are by nature shorter drops. Plus, you can purchase additional charms and materials on the day if you wish to make more than one pair. Help is at hand to work out patterns possible within the time and there are ready-to-wear earring wires available too. WANT TO EMBELLISH YOUR JEWELLERY FURTHER? Enhance your charm earrings with a bespoke birthstone setting on the day, available for £70+ per gemstone (stone depending). I'll ensure they're ready for you to collect two weeks post-class. NOTES FOR BOOKING: The class can run over the hour a short while if needed but please make me aware if you are working to a schedule. Attendees must be over the age of 14 years old. Each child must be accompanied by an adult also participating in the class. An ideal class size is 2 or more people, and while the class will run with a booking of two or less, the more the merrier, so invite your friends! What to wear: Closed-toe shoes are essential. Comfortable clothing is advised and if you need glasses please bring them! Bringing an apron is optional but can be good to protect clothing.
